In 2018 she attended her first doula training by the Non-profit organization- Birthworkers of Color based in Long Beach. Since then she has trained with several Black, Indigenous leaders, midwives, doulas of color that specialize in traditional holistic care for birthing folks. She has been certified, a Lactation Education Specialist by Breastfeed LA. She was trained by the beautiful student midwive- Sarah Ferguson on the practice of Placenta Encapsulation. She's been trained in Spinning Babies birth care modalities by Certified Midwife Tema Mercado. She is currently taking a year training with Los Angeles Midwifes from Kindred Space LA.
